What you can explore in vocal lessons

The course is shaped around the student rather than a fixed one-size-fits-all sequence.

Pop vocal production

Build a practical understanding of how the voice works within contemporary songs.

Rhythm and pitch

Lessons include focused work on rhythmic accuracy and pitch awareness.

Ear training and expression

Ear training supports musical understanding while technique and expression develop together.

Students who reach a suitable stage can be introduced to others and form a band, which then performs at the annual student showcase. See how bands form and what the showcase involves.

A 30-minute introduction, not an audition

The trial lesson lets the student and instructor learn about each other’s starting point and teaching style. The instructor assesses the student’s current level; complete beginners can learn basic posture and complete a few short introductory exercises.
