Where Music
Feels Like Home

Lost In Music Studio is a modern music education space near Highway 404 and 401, serving Scarborough and Toronto. We help students enjoy music while building real musical skills — in a relaxed, creative, and inspiring environment.

Whether you're a complete beginner picking up your first instrument, a hobbyist looking to level up, or preparing for your next stage performance — we're here to guide your journey.

Relaxed & Inspiring

Learn in an atmosphere that feels creative, never stressful. Music should be something you look forward to.

Technique Meets Creativity

We balance fundamental skills with musical expression, so you grow as both a player and an artist.

Stage Experience

We encourage performance opportunities so students build confidence and enjoy sharing their music.

Lifelong Passion

Our goal isn't just teaching songs — it's helping students fall in love with music for life.

Built for Musicians,
Not Just Students

02

Students who play in real bands

The rhythm guitarist and the bassist of Toronto J-rock band 休日革命 have both studied with our guitar instructor.

03

Stages and awards, not just classrooms

Our instructors have performed at Taste of Asia, the Asian Heritage Festival, the Lan Kwai Fong Music Festival and the Underground 20th Anniversary Music Festival. One drum instructor won the 2023 China Youth Percussion Qingdao Division championship.

04

Built for adult beginners

Most of our students are adults, and many start from zero. Lessons are taught primarily in Chinese with English support; one drum instructor also teaches in Cantonese.

05

One-to-one, always

Every lesson is one-to-one at the studio — a 30-minute trial lesson first, then 60-minute lessons. Teaching experience across the five instructors ranges from five to more than twenty years.

06

Bands form by progress, not intake

There is no sign-up form and no fixed intake. Students at a similar stage are introduced to each other, a band forms when the fit is right, and it performs at the annual student showcase held at an external venue.

[The guitar instructor] doesn’t just teach you how to play songs—he takes the time to explain the techniques, music theory, and the reasoning behind what you’re learning. … Another thing that makes Lost In Music Studio stand out is its strong sense of community. … It’s a great place to network, find potential bandmates, and be part of a supportive musical community outside of lessons.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience learning ukulele at Lost in Music Studio. Despite my initial surprise at its location within a house, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The teacher was incredibly patient and friendly right from the start. He not only answered all my questions but also corrected my mistakes with grace.
