What you can explore in drum lessons

The course is shaped around the student rather than a fixed one-size-fits-all sequence.

Styles that match your interests

Lessons can draw from rock, blues, J-rock, jazz, funk and other styles according to the student.

From individual practice to ensemble playing

Band-oriented learning can help students connect their part with the music around them.

Improvisation and creative direction

Students interested in creative work can include improvisation and original ideas in their learning path.

Students who reach a suitable stage can be introduced to others and form a band, which then performs at the annual student showcase. See how bands form and what the showcase involves.

A 30-minute introduction, not an audition

The trial lesson lets the student and instructor learn about each other’s starting point and teaching style. The instructor assesses the student’s current level; complete beginners can learn basic posture and complete a few short introductory exercises.
